Dermal Fillers are injectable fillers used to fill skin that has lost tissue volume. Fillers also smooth facial lines, add volume to lips, and reduce acne scarring. Dermal filler can be used to fill tear troughs (under eye hollows), enhance cheekbones, contour facial structure, and replace lost volume on the hands. Similar to the body’s own natural hyaluronic acid, fillers are made of calcium and hyaluronic acid. Our nurses will help you decide which filler will best suit your needs. Fillers normally last 6-18 months, depending on the individual. The most common areas where filler is used are:
- Nasal labial folds – the lines from the corners of your nose to the corners of your mouth
- Marionette lines – lines from the corners of your mouth that run toward your chin
- Cheeks
- Lips
- Facial wrinkles
- Vertical lip lines
- Corners of the mouth
